Evolution is taught in public schools like a religion. There are many false religions in this world. Many people are deceived by these false religions.
How do you indentify or recognize a false religion?
(1) Does the religion require you to "work" you way to heaven through church instituted rituals?
(2) If your church or religion requires you to work your way to heaven, it is a FALSE religion and a FALSE church.
An example would be the catholic church which has many rituals and rules to abide by to aquire eternal life through the catholic church only.
The catholic church has no authority or power to bestow eternal life on any individual. The catholic chuch has no power to purchase your salvation.
The Roman Catholic Church is not a true Christian church because it denies one of the essential doctrines of the Christian faith, namely, salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.
2:3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.
2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
3:6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
3:7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life
The false religion of the catholic church deceives people into believing this:
Auricular confession (confession in the ear of a priest) is the only way to have mortal (serious) sins forgiven after Baptism. Original sin is washed away at baptism (baptismal regeneration). Roman Catholic priests can only grant judicial pardon for all mortal sins. There still remains the temporal punishment which must be dealt with by the individual. This is accomplished by performing various types of penance including prayers, good works and praying rosaries.
God's Word reveals the lie and deception of the false religion of the catholic church.
We are clearly told in Proverbs 28:13 – “He that covereth his sins shall not prosper; but who so confesseth andforsaketh them shall have mercy.” The Scriptures are quite clear that God alone can forgive sins. We are specifically told in I Timothy 2:5, 6– “For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.” It is therefore, totally unnecessary to confess to a priest. There is not even one verse in the entire New Testament that records anyone confessing their sins to anyone other than God. The apostles certainly did not hear anyone’s confession. The apostle Paul did not hear confession. Likewise, Luke, James and Jude certainly did not hear confession. The apostle John, the last of the New Testament writers, mentions nothing about auricular confession.
The Roman Catholic Church claims that Jesus gave the apostles the power to forgive or not forgive sins and hence the doctrine of confession or Penance was instituted. Furthermore, they believe that this power was passed on down through the ages and because of ‘apostolic succession’ priests today alone can forgive sins. A more thorough examination of these two passages of Scripture is in order though. In the first passage in John 20, it is very interesting that the Roman Church conveniently omits verse 19 which clearly states that all disciples received the same power. This means that lay people also received the power. The parallel passage of this same event is found in Luke 24:45-47 and Jesus clearly explains how the remitting of sins is to be accomplished. “Then Jesus opened their understanding, that they might understand the Scriptures, and said unto them, ‘Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day; and that repentance for the remission of sins should be preached in His name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.”
The second passage in Matthew 16:19 has the same explanation. How did the disciples remit and retain sins? According the words of Jesus, they were to preach the Gospel beginning at Jerusalem. (It is also quite interesting that the Savior stated the church was to begin in Jerusalem and not Rome.) As the apostles and other disciples proclaimed the simple Gospel message, men were given an opportunity to repent of their sins and believe in Jesus. If they repented, their sins were remitted; if they refused to repent, their sins were retained. It is actually no different today. We invite sinners to receive Jesus Christ as their Savior by repenting of their sins and by faith trusting Him to be their Savior. We can boldly proclaim that all who trust Christ have eternal life and those who refuse Him, will die in their sins and spend eternity in hell.
The final question then to be answered is, who then can forgive sins?
Mk. 2:7-”Who can forgive sins but God only?”
Ps. 32:5-” I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord.”
Eph. 1:7-”In Jesus we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.”
1 John 1:9-”If we confess our sins, He [Christ] is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
Is. 43:25-”I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.”
The Bible is very clear that God alone can forgive sins. Therefore, it totally unnecessary to confess to a priest. Our Catholic friends will often turn to James 5:16 in another attempt to prove auricular confession (confession in the ear of a priest). “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availieth much.” They will even go so far as to change the word “faults” to sin and the word “healed” to saved. The Greek word translated fault is paraptoma which also carries the meaning of a lapse, deviation or error. The common Greek word for sin is hamartia and is obviously not used here. The Greek word translated healed is iathete and can never mean saved. The Greek word translated saved is sosei. Unfortunately many of the modern translations follow the corrupt Wescott Hort text which changes the word paraptoma to hamartia which follows the error of the Douay-Rheims Bible thus attempting to prove the need for confessing to a priest..
Let’s see what is actually being said in James 5:16. To begin with, we need to examine the context of the entire passage beginning in verse 13. When examined as a whole verses 13 to 16 are clearly dealing with the healing of the sick and not with confession of sins to a priest. The Catholic contention that verse 16 teaches auricular confession fails for several obvious reasons.

A Story.
Today I was able to talk to a catholic friend of my grandson. My grandson and I had been talking in the last week or so about the catholic church.
I told my grandson that the catholic church was a false religion that deceived people into thinking they could work their way to heaven. I also told my grandson that it was useless to pray to mary or the so called pope in rome.
I explained that there was only one mediator between God and Men, the Lord Jesus Christ.
I told him the so called pope in rome was only a man and had no power to intercede for anyone to mediate sins or answer prayers.
I told him the so called pope in rome was a deceiver that was possessed by evil to deceive many.
I explained that the people who confess their sins to a man in a closet is useless. This so called priest that listens to a confession of sin has no power to do anything to help them. I explained he to was a deceiver and deceived.
I explained the wafer that is given in the catholic mass is nothing but a wafer, a cracker. I also explained the grape juice or wine in the ritual is only grape juice or wine. It is not the body and blood of Jesus. If it was that would mean catholics are practicing cannibalism.
I told my grandson that the mary was a chosen person by God who bore the Messiah who is God in flesh, but she is not the "mother of God" in the sense that she was before Him and/or superior to Him as is what motherhood implies. She has no power to forgive sins or answer prayers no more than you or I do.
God is the preeminent one, the most important and praiseworthy being in the universe. God has no "mother." He is the creator of all things. There is nothing and there is no one before Him, equal to Him, or comparable to Him.
I further told my grandson that the catholic church worships idols in the form of statues that are a symbol of mary or dead people they call saints.
This is idol worship. God forbids idol worship.
The catholic church teaches men the ritual of the "last rite" a false hope of salvation through the catholic church. This ritual cannot save anyone from their sins.
The Bible teaches you must be born again through faith in Jesus Christ alone. If a person accepts Jesus as their saviour before death God will save them from an eternity in hell and give them the gift of eternal life.
Its too late to be saved after you die in your sins because you trusted in the "last rite" of the catholic church to forgive your sins.
20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
20:6 And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
The catholic friend of my grandson was a young girl who listened and seem to understand what I was telling her from the Bible. I read a few scriptures from the KJV Bible.
I emphasized that the only way to be saved from your sins was trusting in Jesus and asking him to save you believing Jesus alone was able to forgive your sins.
I made sure she understood that Jesus alone and no one else was able to forgive her sins.
I told her that the catholic mass was not going to do anything for her and that the catholic church could not be the mediator for he sins because it wasn't the catholic church that was sacrificed on the cross for her sins but it was Jesus Christ alone.
I told her in effect that the catholic church was a false religion. I told her this in a way that she could understand.
I did not want to offend her to let satan get his foot in the door.
There are many precious people like her that are deceived by the catholic church.
My purpose for writing this story is to inform other catholics so hopefully by God's grace they will see that you can't work your way to heaven.

The fate of those who teach others to worship the false idols of the catholic church is sealed if they don't repent and trust Jesus alone as their saviour for the remission of their sins.
The catholic church makes merchandise of men by telling them they can purchase indulgences with money.
Romans 8:18-23- “And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money, saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost. But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money. Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God. Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee. For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity.”
The catholic church deceives people and tells them their eternal salvation depends on seven sacraments. The seven sacraments are an invention of man and impart no grace to anyone.
If you are a catholic who trusts in your church to purchase your eternal salvation you are deceived by the catholic church and will die in your sins and spend eternity in hell astonished that you were deceived by your church!
