Men and women make mistakes and are wrong all the time because their thinking is finite.
I am sure there are things that if GOD told us about them we with our finite minds would not have the ability to understand.
The atheist trys to explain his existance via theories that are produced with finite minds. His theories comfort him in his knowledge that he was created from nothing by nothing. I believe the atheist's trust in his man made theories leaves him without an answer about how he was created.
I myself know not to put my trust in what man says but what GOD has said in the bible about creation. I am assured and confident that GOD has explained the creation of the universe and man in Genesis. We were not created by accident as the atheist believes but were created in GOD's image for his glory and pleasure.
I will put my trust in GOD and not man. Man is limited to his finite universe of theories explaining his existance. GOD is not limited to a finite universe because he existed before he created the universe and us. Put your trust in Jesus Christ the creator of the universe and the saviour of your eternal soul.
Jn 3:16 "For GOD so loved the world that he gave he only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.".
Heb 7:25 "Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them."
Many people make mistakes and are wrong about things every day.
Have you every made a mistake and been wrong in your life?
I mean really really wrong.
You ask yourself, "How could I have been so wrong".
After you die and are in hell because of your atheist belief of there is no GOD and ask yourself the question about Jesus Christ, "How could I have been so wrong", it will have been forever to late.
19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
Jesus is warning us in these verses that after you die and are in hell for all eternity, you become a believer in Jesus Chirst but it will be to late.
Don't find out that you are really really wrong to late.
Don't let the last mistake you make be wrong about your eternal soul.
Once our life is over its over. Once a tree falls to the ground it is dead. "There it shall be". Were will you be after your life ends?
THE JUDGEMENT
Death is finality. Death ends the "tomorrow" of salvation, that was always on the sinners's mind. Death closes the door of opportunity. "If the tree fall toward the south or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be, " (Ecc.11:3) What has been left undone will forevermore be undone. What has been done can never be undone. There will be no opportunity through all eternity to accept a Saviour that was rejected throughtout your life time. At death, the chapter of the books of records concerning your life will be sealed. There will be no pardon, no reprieve and no probation. Either your name is, or is not written in the Lambs Book of Life. One second after death, and it can never be changed.
Answer one question honestly, and you will know wheather or not you are ready for that day. No sane person desires the process of dying, but how do you view the actual moment of death? Will it be the end of all your dreams, hopes and everything you've lived for, or will it be the glorious beginning of eternity? Your very conscience testifies whether or not you are ready.
God created man and implanted within each individual obstacles (conscience and fear of God and His word) that will not allow anyone to blithely and merrily go to hell.
How do you answer the question? All the hell a saved person will ever experience is on this earth. All the heaven a sinner will ever receive is in this life. Will you reign with him whose goings forth have been of old, who was dead and is alive and lives forever more? Will you stand at the right hand of God and be accepted, or will you suffer with that great deceiver who has gained so much acceptance in this day and age? Will you be with the weeping and wailing masses of forever fogotten souls that have been damned to the eternal torement and anguish or a flaming and pitch black hell? Do not think friends or family will be of any comfort there. Should you find one of them, their screams and helpless wails will tear your heart out and make you realize what a fool you were for not accepting Christ and leading your family to salvation.
Hell is eternal and the strongest of men will cry like little lost children. They will have no comfort because, while they had an opportunity, they rejected their Saviour. Dear friend you are still alive and the door of opportunity is still open. Soon it will not be so! Do not trust in the philosophies of today. Vain philosophies and ideas will be of no help when you look into the ghastly gaze of death.
THE WAY
Is God asking too much for you to bow your head and accept what He has already done on the cross for you? The total amount of time involved in receiving salvation is less than thirty seconds.
Compare thirty seconds against all eternity. If you wish to escape the wrath to come, bow your head now. 2 Corinthians 6:2 states, "Now is the accepted time. Behold, now is the day of salvation." Repent of your sins now, accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour now, confess Him before men today. "If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness: and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Rom. 10:9, 10)
After having done this, you will want to pray often, read your Bible daily and find a fundamental church to attend regularly.
Remember, life is fleeting. Tomorrow may be too late! Now is the accepted time--NOW IS THE DAY OF SALVATION!
